Dark Moon Rising, commonly known as Wolf Moon (Werewolf), is a horror film  made in 2009 and directed by Dana Mennie.
​
In a small town, true love and destiny collide in the life of a young woman named Amy (Ginny Weirick) who falls in love with a mysterious newcomer, Dan (Chris Divecchio) who brings with him a family curse and the unimaginable horror that follow. His father is Bender (Max Ryan) and he shares the curse with his son, bringing hell to the small town.

The brave Sam played by the beautiful María conchita Alonso is the local sheriff and together with Thibodeaux (Billy Drago), a former policeman from another city who witnessed Bender's lust and a homicide detective, local farmer and father of Amy, Jhon (Chris Mulkey), will lead the last confrontation with Bender and will try to end the terror in which the city lives.
